- The children of Lakhimpur & Biswanath Districts of Assam were taken for exposure in Dejoo tea Estate, Borgang Parish & Hospital and St Xavier’s College in the Month of July 2019.
- The main aims and objectives of the exposure were to bring together the children and showcase some of their talents, to exchange information and ideas on Child Rights. Encourage familiarity and interaction between children from different villages. This was also a time for them to see new places, meet new people and learn by observing.
- An awareness programme on, ‘My Rights and My Duties’, was held on 16th July 2019 at Amlakhi T.E. Nagaon for the women para-legal persons of Nagaon district. It was organised by Centre for Law and Human Rights (CLHR), Guwahati, in collaboration with Legal Cell for Human Rights (LCHR), Christian Basti, Guwahati. The resource persons were Madam Pritisha Borah, the Founder Trustee of Centre and Madam Debasmita Ghosh.
- An awareness programme was at conducted 62 No Khetri Gaon Panchayat, Guwahati on 12th July 2019, organized by ‘Mobility India’ in collaboration with ‘Legal Cell for Human Rights’ (LCHR). The resource person was Mousumi Kalita (Programme Manager of LCHR), on RTE, RTI, Domestic Violence and human trafficking.
- An awareness programme was organized by Mobility India in collaboration with LCHR, on 28th March 2019 on the topic of Fundamental rights and duties, Rights of persons with disabilities (PWD’s) and Protection of women from Domestic violence at Dhupguri, Khetri. The resources persons were Mousumi Kalita, John Besra and Owen Chourappa from LCHR, Guwahati. A total number of 16 participant’s presents in that programme.
- One day awareness programme was organized in six different places for anganwadi workers in Dimoria block. A total of 248 women, person’s with disability, Panchayat president, secretary and others participated and benefitted from the programme. Among the above mentioned number of participants there were some specially invited participants of SHG group.
