TRAINING PROGRAMME ON ‘ADVOCACY SKILLS AND CHILD RIGHTS’

Training Programme on ‘Advocacy Skills and Child Rights’ was organized by Legal Cell for Human Rights (LCHR) for the instructors of Supplementary Education Centre (SEC) under the support of ‘Kindermissionswerk’ from 08th to 10th December 2021 at Pastoral Centre, Lichu Bari – Tezpur.

A total number of 45 instructors including the LCHR staff participated in the training programme. The resource persons for the training programme were –

The SEC instructors were trained on ‘Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015’, ‘Human Trafficking – Its adverse effect on society with relevant Laws’, ‘Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012’, ‘Child Labour – Its present scenario in Tea Gardens/ Villages’ and ‘Right to Information Act 2005’.
