On 29th October 2022, Legal Cell for Human Rights (LCHR) – Guwahati, organized training programme for PLPs and Evaluation of the project “Creating and Strengthening of Vigilant Communities through Legal Capacity Programmes among the Tea Plantation Labourers in Assam” at Pastoral Centre, Lichu Bari, Harigaon, Sonitpur, under the support of “Dreikönigsaktion Hilfswerk der Katholischen Jungschar”.

There were 85 participants including the Programme Manager(s) and District Coordinators from Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Udalguri, North Lakhimpur and Sonitpur districts of Assam. They were trained on the following topics –

1. Evaluation & Feedbacks of Project
2. Labour Codes for India
3. Communication Skills
4. Maternity Benefit Act 1961
5. Group Discussion based on Evaluation Programme
