Legal Capacity Enhancement Training of PLPs was organized by Legal Cell for Human Rights (LCHR) under the guidance of Fr. Owen C. SJ supported by ‘Dreikönigsaktion Hilfswerk der Katholischen Jungschar‘ on 30th and 31st May, 2022 at NEDSSS, Kharghuli – Guwahati.

Hundred (100) Para Legal Persons (PLPs) from Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Nagaon, North-Lakhimpur and Udalguri district zones participated in the training programme. They were trained on the following topics –

1. ‘Free Legal Aid’
2. ‘Land Law’
3. ‘Panchayati Raj’
4. ‘Juvenile Justice Act, 2015’
5. ‘The Indian Forest Act’
6. ‘First Information Report’
7. ‘Public Distribution System’
