“LCHR Associates”, a group of young lawyers dedicated and committed to the Vision and Mission of LCHR, render their services inside the court accompanying the cases of the poor and the vulnerable sections of the society. They take up deserving cases and obtain relief for the aggrieved through the justice delivery system. With the help of LCHR Associates, women are able to fight their unavoidable litigations in the courts. Due to a decisive intervention of LCHR, the Gauhati High Court directed the Government in a PIL (PIL 22/2002) not to disturb possession of 10,000 Garo Tribal Refugees who settled in Rangkhang Forest Reserve in Karbi Anglong, Assam till an objective decision is taken by the High Court.
